Theater Picks: ‘Peter and the Starcatcher’ at PlayMakers

PlayMakers Repertory Company’s “Peter and the Starcatcher” is a family-friendly show based on the best-selling book by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. This Tony Award-winning play with music follows an orphan boy living out his dream of swashbuckling adventure on his way to becoming the fabled Peter Pan. A dozen cast members play all the characters, making up scenery with everyday objects as they go along (runs through Dec. 12).
