About the tour: For those who know only the 1965 film, the 1960 Broadway original includes some songs left out of the film and some familiar numbers that occur in places changed for the movie.

What’s on in Raleigh: “Once”
The buzz: Based on the popular 2006 film, the musical follows the bittersweet love story of a struggling Dublin musician and a forthright young Czech woman. The show retains most of songs from the film.
Watch for: Actors singing, dancing and playing instruments, all at the same time; the way the pub setting changes to other locales so imaginatively.
About the tour: This tour has the same talented leads as when it last played the Triangle. If you missed them, now’s the chance to enjoy Stuart Ward and Dani de Waal’s endearing chemistry together.
Where: Memorial Auditorium, Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts, 2 East South Street, Raleigh (presented by Broadway Series South)
