Vivienne Benesch stages Anton Chekhov’s “Three Sisters,” at PlayMakers Repertory Company beginning this weekend. It’s her first show as the company’s new producing artistic director, but she’s established her credentials at PRC with three previous productions over the past five years. The classic story of failed hopes and relationships is in a world-premiere translation by Libby Appel.
