“The Lion King” stage show opened Tuesday, with incredible music and choreography driving a troupe of majestic giraffes, gazelles, hyenas and, of course, lions. Shows are already close to selling out.
‘Actual State’

Starting this weekend, visitors can get a behind-the-scenes look at how damaged paintings are restored, as conservator Noelle Ocon works on the Flemish painting “The Pentacost.” The first sessions are Saturday, but this runs through July 10.

The weather will be unseasonably warm for this year’s 1-mile Undies Run, which is all for charity (proceeds benefit The Children’s Tumor Foundation). Pre-run party at noon.
