Theater Picks: ‘Tale of the Allergist’s Wife’ gets Triangle premiere
North Raleigh Arts and Creative Theatre stages the area premiere of Charles Busch’s “The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife” beginning Friday. The long-running Broadway comedy follows the midlife crisis experienced by upper class doctor’s wife, Marjorie, whose depression is turned around by a visit from a childhood friend who’s had the life Marjorie wanted.
