Theater Picks: RLT’s ‘Beertown’ runs on audience interaction
Raleigh Little Theatre’s production of “Beertown,” opening Friday, is something a little different. The play’s premise is a meeting to open a town’s time capsule to vote on what to take out and put in. Here, the townspeople are the audience members, who join in the selections (the items are Raleigh-related). There’s also a potluck dessert beforehand. Lively interaction is the goal.
8 p.m. Friday-Saturday; 3 p.m. Sunday (through May 22). $22 ($18 seniors/students, $13 for all Sunday 4/8). 919-821-3111 or raleighlittletheatre.org.
