What’s on: “If/Then”
The buzz: Created by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, winners of the Pulitzer Prize for the dramatic musical, “Next to Normal,” 2014’s “If/Then” is a contemporary look at one woman’s life in the big city. It follows two alternating paths her relationships and careers might have taken.
Watch for: Actors playing two very different versions of the same character, often in the same scene; the gleaming cityscape sets and projections.
About the tour: Two member of the Broadway cast are in the tour: Jackie Burns, standby for leading lady, Idina Menzel, and Anthony Rapp, the original Mark in “Rent.”
