Tour D’Coop

This annual self-guided tour of urban chicken coops, bee hives and gardens in Raleigh, Cary and Apex gets more popular each year. There’s even a bike route for downtown Raleigh coops, and some sites will have food trucks and activities for kids. Benefits Urban Ministries.

Lemurpalooza

Meet adorable lemurs at this special event that raises funds to support the Duke Lemur Center. You can even adopt lemurs (you just can’t take them home). Enjoy food from NOSH or bring a picnic.
