The owners of Bella Monica, a popular Italian restaurant in Raleigh, have expanded into Cary with their new restaurant, Stellino’s Italiano.
The restaurant is next to Frank Theaters CineBowl & Grille in Parkside Town Commons off N.C. 55.
The menu includes thin-crust pizzas and flatbreads, pastas, seafood, chicken and pork and beef dishes. The pizza dough is made with imported Italian flours. A bruschette menu features a variety of toppings and mix-and-match options.

“Although the menu is similar to our Bella Monica offerings, the bigger space allows us to execute some new menu items that we weren’t able to offer at Bella Monica,” Corbett Monica said in a news release.
He said he chose a different name for the restaurant – a variation in the brand – because of the expanded menu.
Desserts also feature traditional Italian offerings like Tiramisu and cannoli.
The wine list features all Italian wines along with Prosecco on tap.
The restaurant has a children’s menu with spaghetti, ziti and pizza.
Bella Monica has become a neighborhood favorite, and Monica said he hopes Stellino’s will serve the same role for the fast-growing west Cary area.
“Stellino’s has become an extension of Nana’s table,” according to the restaurant’s website.
