What to Watch on Saturday: ‘Good Witch’ series on Hallmark
Good Witch (8 p.m., Hallmark) – The two-hour world premiere of a new series based on the long-running “Good Witch” movie franchise. Like the movies, the ten-episode series will star Catherine Bell as Cassie Nightingale. It adds James Denton (“Desperate Housewives”) as a doctor who moves in (along with his son) next door to Grey House, and Bailee Madison, who will play Cassie’s teenage daughter Grace.
Kept Woman (8 p.m., Lifetime) – A woman moves to the suburbs with her fiancé and becomes involved with a charismatic neighbor who kidnaps women.
Shania: Still the One Live from Vegas (9 p.m., ABC) – It’s Shania Twain’s Las Vegas show, which features a 13-piece band, dancers, trained horses and a flying motorcycle.
The Musketeers (9 p.m., BBC America) – The king’s cousin is ambushed, while under Musketeer escort, when she travels to Sweden to take part in a politically motivated marriage that will be advantageous to France.
Saturday Night Live (11:30 p.m., NBC) – Dakota Johnson (“50 Shades of Grey”) hosts with musical guest Alabama Shakes.
