What to Watch on Friday: New ‘Flaked’ on Netflix, Peabody Awards show on UNC-TV

Flaked (Netflix) – Season 2 of this Will Arnett comedy, which started out as a web series, lands on Netflix. Arnett plays a sketchy self-help guru.

RuPaul’s Drag Race (8 p.m., VH1) – The queens compete in a queer culture pageant and design outfits inspired by the Village People.

The Originals (8 p.m., The CW) – Klaus requests that his estranged siblings Rebekah and Kol return home to stand by their family against The Hollow.

The Peabody Awards (9 p.m., UNC-TV) – This 76th annual awards ceremony honors outstanding work in news, documentaries, entertainment, children’s programming, educational programming and public service. TV writer and producer Norman Lear is also honored.
