What to Watch on Saturday: An incredible rescue attempt on ‘Pit Bulls and Parolees’

Pit Bulls and Parolees (9 p.m., Animal Planet) – Lizzy finds a maggot-covered dog lying on the road and races to the vet in hopes of saving it. Meanwhile, a mother and son travel from Boston to adopt a dog, but Tia struggles to find a good fit for their family. At 10, a new inmate starts working at VRC, trying to fill the shoes of Country Matt.
