What to Watch on Saturday: Toni Braxton in ‘Faith Under Fire’ and Will Ferrell hosts ‘SNL’
Faith Under Fire: The Antoinette Tuff Story (8 p.m., Lifetime) – This movie is based on the true story of a woman – played by Toni Braxton – who helped save the lives of more than 800 students after a gunman stormed into the Decatur, Georgia, school where she worked. A special Biography presentation on Tuff’s story airs at 10.
All Eyez On Me (8 p.m., HBO) – A biopic about the life and death of rapper Tupac Shakur, starring Demetrius Shipp who bears an uncanny resemblance to 2Pac. It’s spooky.
Winter’s Dream (9 p.m., Hallmark) – The final Winterfest movie involves a former ski champion who re-enterse the competitive world after a 16-year-old downhill racer asks for help. She ends up finding a new love and reawakening an old passion.
Conan (10 p.m., TBS) – Conan O’Brien presents a special episode from Haiti, featuring musicians, celebrities and comics.
Saturday Night Live (11:30 p.m., NBC) – Will Ferrell returns to SNL as host, and Chris Stapleton performs.
