What to Watch on Monday: New dating show takes pageant approach to 'The Proposal'
The Proposal (10 p.m., ABC) — If “The Bachelor”/“Bachelorette” shows weren’t crazy enough for you, now ABC has a show where 10 eligible women vie for a chance at love with a mystery man in a pageant-style contest. After each round (beachwear, questions, etc) the pool is pared down until two remain at the end, and the suitor proposes to one. I wish this was a joke. It's hosted by former NFL player and Season 5 "Bachelor" Jesse Palmer.
