What to Watch Saturday: Lifetime movie based on bestselling novelist’s own true story
The Neighbor in the Window (8 p.m., Lifetime) - In this new “ripped-from-the-headlines” Lifetime movie, Karen (Jamie-Lynn Sigler) and her family relocate to Washington for her husband’s job. But soon after Karen meets their charming new neighbor Lisa (Jenn Lyon), her life starts to spiral out of control. The movie is based on the novel “False Victim” by mystery writer Kathie Truitt, but Truitt told Oxygen.com that the events are actually based on her own life. Truitt told Oxygen that she became the victim of a crazy neighbor who stalked her family for four years, and said her family eventually moved to another country to escape her. Like the victim in the book (and in this movie), Truitt was even charged with attempted murder and later acquitted.
Matching Hearts (9 p.m., Hallmark) - Hallmark’s Valentine’s Day movie has a matchmaker searching for a mate for an entrepreneur who believes staying single is the key to success. According to photos from Hallmark, this movie also features an adorable dog.
In Memoriam (9 p.m., Investigation Discovery) - In this special, wounded warriors, grieving relatives and heroes from three recent mass shootings in the U.S. relive the moment their lives changed forever, and reveal the emotional scars of those events.
Saturday Night Live (11:30 p.m., NBC) - RuPaul hosts and Justin Bieber performs.
Austin City Limits (Midnight, PBS / UNC-TV) - Spanish singer-songwriter and dancer Rosalía performs songs from “El Mal Querer.”
