What to Watch Wednesday: A new season of Amy Sedaris’ Emmy-nominated ‘At Home’ series
The Masked Singer (8 p.m., Fox) - Turtle, Frog and Night Angel compete one last time to find out who wins the top prize in the Season 3 finale.
At Home with Amy Sedaris (10 p.m., truTV) - We get the start of Season 3 of this offbeat, Emmy-nominated comedy series by one of our favorite hometown stars, Amy Sedaris. Sedaris set this hilariously spoofy homemaker show in the “Research Triangle” area of North Carolina, and sprinkles each episode with nods to her home state. Sedaris always does the unexpected here, and she always has fantastic guest stars. This seasons guests include Paul Rudd, Jane Krakowski, Michael McKean, Ana Gasteyer, Michael Shannon, Jason Sudeikis, Justin Theroux and many others. Among the new topics explored this season: preparing for a baby, the do’s and don’ts of travel, how to celebrate Easter and what to expect on a first date. Read our interview with Sedaris ahead of Season 1, where she explains that the inspiration for the show is a locally produced homemaker show she watched growing up in Raleigh.
Jay Leno’s Garage (10 p.m., CNBC) - A new episode has Jay Leno surprising Blake Shelton by taking him for a ride in a vintage pickup truck. Leno also attempts to teach former “Saturday Night Live” star Norm MacDonald how to drive.
