The Great Pottery Throw Down (HBO Max) - This UK streaming series is basically “The Great British Bake-Off,” but with potters. Ten “home potters” start out in the competition, and one is eliminated at the end of each episode. Three seasons have already aired on the BBC and all three are streaming today on HBO Max.

Departure (Peacock) - This new original series stars Archie Panjabi (“The Good Wife”) as an investigator tasked with looking into a vanished passenger plane, alongside her mentor, played by Academy Award-winner Christopher Plummer.
