What to Watch Friday: ‘Dateline’ launches ‘Paradise’ series, Netflix touts ‘Sex Room’
Here’s what to watch tonight.
20/20: The Last Days of Gabby Petito (9 p.m., ABC)
Tonight’s show is a repeat featuring internet sleuths who helped investigate the disappearance of Gabby Petito last summer as she traveled cross-country with her boyfriend Brian Laundrie. Laundrie returned from the trip without Petito and then disappeared himself.
Dateline: Rear Window - The Murder of Corey Parker (10 p.m., NBC)
Dateline will rebroadcast a series of true-crime cases under the “Mysteries in Paradise” banner all month long. Tonight’s case is about 25-year-old Corey Parker, who was found dead inside her Jacksonville Beach, Fla., apartment in 1998. It took police more than a year to find a microscopic clue that helped them solve the case and find the killer, who was very close to home. The story is reported by Andrea Canning, who interviews detectives Bill Carlyle and Katie Kingston, prosecutor Melissa Nelson, Corey’s friends and others.
How to Build a Sex Room (Netflix)
In this new streaming series, luxury interior designer Melanie Rose helps couples “create stylish spaces where they can carry out any fantasy they wish.” Netflix promises: “ you’ve never seen anything quite like this!” The British-born Rose is apparently considered “the Mary Poppins of sex rooms.”
