What to Watch on Saturday: Lifetime’s ‘Obsession’ movie trilogy continues
Lifetime’s Obsession Thrillogy (6 p.m., Lifetime) - Lifetime’s “Thrillogy” trilogy continues tonight, with the second of three movies telling the story Madison Turner (Celeste Desjardins) and her obsessive roommate-turned-boyfriend Blake Collins (Travis Nelson). The first of these movies actually premiered last night, but will repeat tonight at 6. You do need to see them all in order to follow the story. “Obsession: Stalked by My Lover,” airing at 6, shows how Madison and Blake became roommates and then lovers, and how their relationship starts to take a darker turn. At 8, “Obsession: Escaping My Ex,” chronicles Blake’s plan to kidnap Madison as part of his ploy to win her back. The third movie, “Obsession: Her Final Vengeance,” will air Sunday at 8 p.m.
The UnXplained (9 p.m., History) - Season 2 of this William Shatner-hosted series starts with stories of escapes that defy explanation: Harry Houdini’s famous escape acts; an attempted prison break from Alcatraz; and a man who received guidance that helped him escape the South Tower of the World Trade Center on 9/11.
Crikey! It’s the Irwins (9 p.m., Animal Planet) - The zoo closes during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Terry must raise funds to get food for the animals. Bindi and Chandler help her instead of going on their honeymoon, and Robert rescues a python.
