A Murder to Remember (8 p.m., Lifetime) - Another ripped-from-the-headlines movie based on an Ann Rule book (“Sleeping with Danger” aired last night). This one tells the real life story of Julio and Candra Torres, whose camping trip in Oregon’s Mount Hood went horribly wrong. In the movie, Javier (Kevin Rodriguez) and Robin Rivera (Maddie Nichols) celebrate their one-year anniversary on a camping trip. But when Javier ends up dead, Robin finds herself alone in the rough wilderness. She accepts help from another camper, a mysterious stranger named Sam (TC Matherne) and slowly places her life in his hands. But she absolutely should not have done that. The movie is followed by a new installment of “Elizabeth Smart: Finding Justice,” in which kidnapping victim Smart interviews Candra Torres about life in captivity at the hands of a master manipulator and murderer.

Taskmaster (9 p .m., The CW) - In this new competition series, imported from the UK, challenges range from the simple to the sublime (for example, a “fart in a jar” potentially earns one game’s highest point total).

Hiroshima: 75 Years Later (9 p.m., History) - Told entirely from the first-person perspective of leaders, physicists, soldiers and survivors, this documenttary presents the moral, scientific and military conundrums of the atomic bomb as felt by those closest to it.

SharkFest 2020 (National Geographic Channel) - Don’t forget that SharkFest is going on now through August 20. Tonight we get the premiere of “Shark vs. Surfer.” Click here for a schedule of some of the new premiere highlights.
