What to Watch on Friday: ‘Being Reuben’ premieres, plus ‘Howard’ doc on Disney+

Greatest #AtHome Videos (8 p.m., CBS) - Cedric the Entertainer hosts this look at viral home videos created while sheltering in place.

Being Reuben (9:30 p.m., The CW) - 14-year-old YouTube star and social media beauty influencer Reuben de Maid is the subject of this new docuseries about his life and family. The Welsh teenager is a singer and make-up expert, living with his mother Vicky and siblings Sonny and Coco.

Howard (Disney+) - The documentary tells the story of Howard Ashman, the lyricist behind Disney classics like “Aladdin,” “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Little Mermaid.” Ashman also created the musical “Little Shop of Horrors.” The documentary includes ever-before-seen archival footage, personal films and photographs, as well as interviews with Howard’s friends and family, for an intimate look at the Disney Legend’s life, his creative drive, and the process behind the music. The film spans his childhood in Baltimore, to his formative years in New York, and his untimely death due to AIDS.

The New York Times Presents: This Is Dominic Fike: The Next Big Thing? (Hulu) - The latest in this New York Times docuseries is about the making of a pop star in 2020. A young musician is plucked from obscurity and given a $4 million record deal. The episode follows Dominic Fike as he prepares for his first international tour and makes his debut album.
