Jelly Roll Accused of Making Death Threat Against Nicole Arbour: Report
Jelly Rollis being accused of making a death threat against comedian Nicole Arbour.
According to a March 1 incident report obtained by TMZ on Thursday, April 23, Arbour, 40, claimed to deputies that she's been dealing with "ongoing issues" involving Jelly Roll (born Jason DeFord) and people associated with him.
Per the report, Jelly Roll, 41, allegedly referenced seeing Arbour at a charity event with a camera. In the incident report, Arbour claims that's when the Grammy winner allegedly said if he saw her with the camera, "He would kill her."
The report notes that deputies said they heard the alleged comment while reviewing footage provided by Arbour.
Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, however, told Us Weekly on Thursday, April 23, "No charges have been filed, and there is no current investigation underway on the part of MNPD."
Us has also reached out to Arbour and Jelly Roll's teams for comment.
Arbour has used her social media platform to bring attention to the "Need a Favor" country singer on multiple occasions.
In December 2025, the comedian claimed that Jelly Roll wanted to apologize to her for undisclosed reasons.
"Feels strange that a lawyer who says they rep you is allegedly trying to get a weird joint statement from us that we're cool when you haven't apologized yet," she claimed via Instagram at the time. "Feel free to message me. Let's confirm that came from you."
Two months later, Arbour accused Jelly Roll of orchestrating a "hush money deal" for undisclosed reasons.
"Hi @JellyRoll615 can I post that alleged hush money deal you allegedly sent over with an alleged threat that if I won't sign it, you'd allegedly sue me??" Arbour wrote via X on February 14. "Really sucks that you couldn't be man enough to apologize for all the INSANE things you did, but here we are."
Less than two weeks later, Arbour dropped a "proof bomb" or a purported confidentiality agreement between herself and Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunnie XO.
"This was sent to me Feb 11, 2026 by JellyRoll and Bunnies lawyer after a YEAR of them trying to weasel out of publicly apologizing for the disgusting and horrific things they did to me, even tricking me (in my opinion) into signing a different version of this where I thought they agreed to posting a public apology," Arbour claimed via Instagram on February 25 with screenshots of the purported court documents. "Ya know, cause that's what was discussed with your ‘team.' Don't worry, I retracted my signature as soon as I saw the trick. … On behalf of myself and all the people you guys have done vile things to: get f***ed."
Jelly Roll has not publicly responded to Arbour's claims. Instead, he has recently been touring the country as part of The Big Ass Stadium Tour with Post Malone and special guest Carter Faith.
He was also inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry on March 10.
"I'm from Nashville y'all, born and raised. And now I can get my damn mail at the Opry," Jelly Roll shared via Instagram after the honor. "That is a story that ONLY God could write y'all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you that have ever listened to my music. Thank you Nashville. Thank you Jesus."
