Love Is Blind's Connor Hints Why He 'Ended' Bri Romance After Reunion
Love Is Blind season 10 couple Connor Spies and Brianna "Bri" McNeeshave broken up after rekindling their pod relationship.
"I'm not dating Bri anymore," Connor, 32, said on the Wednesday, June 10, episode of the "Table for 1" podcast, hinting he wants to keep his dating life "under wraps" moving forward.
Connor proposed to Bri, 34, sight unseen in the Love Is Blind pods. The pair, who only met in person after Bri accepted the proposal, ultimately called off their wedding before the big day. By the reunion, Connor and Bri announced that they were still dating.
While addressing the breakup on season 9 alum Joe Ferrucci's podcast, Connor claimed that the relationship ended by "the end of March-ish." (LiB season 10 finished airing in March, though the experiment was filmed almost two years earlier.)
"I ended it," he said. "Wish her nothing but the best, she's a good person [with] a good heart, but things just didn't work out. … She knows why we broke up [and] we just couldn't make it work."
Without elaborating on what went wrong, Connor stated that his relationship with Bri was similar both with and without cameras.
"We had a good time, we had a good year. We got to travel to a bunch of different places. She got me out of my comfort zone with a lot of things, which was nice," Connor recalled, noting that he and Bri even merged their friend groups. "I like to hang out with a lot of different people, like to meet new people, so we were able to get a really good group of her friends and the guys from the show that I got to connect with. We had a really good group of friends where we did a lot of stuff, did a lot of bar crawls or themed parties, which was a lot of fun. We just had a really good crew in Columbus, still do."
According to Connor, he holds no ill will toward his former fiancée.
"She got me out of my comfort zone with a lot of things, and she challenged me in some ways that I hadn't been challenged before, which was nice," Conner acknowledged of Bri. "She's a go-getter, like, there's a lot of things that I wouldn't have done if it wasn't for her. [Bri] helped me to go to new places, find new stuff to do and, honestly, see the world. When she sets her mind to something, she does it."
He continued, "I am grateful for everything, people I met out of it, Bri and everything. I just, kind of, take life as it comes."
