Charlotte-based company bringing 100 jobs to Raleigh. Here’s how to apply.

A new business opening in North Raleigh is expected to hire up to 100 people in the next few months.

POWERHOME, a company that specializes in solar energy and energy efficiency services, announced on Tuesday it will be opening an office in Raleigh. The goal of the POWERHOME company is to “provide homeowners and businesses in central and eastern North Carolina a supplement to grid energy,” according to a press release.

This will be the third POWERHOME location in North Carolina. Its headquarters are in Charlotte.

The Raleigh office will be at 9208 Falls of Neuse Road, Suite 120. POWERHOME will hire up to 100 people in the areas of energy consulting and installation.

“Despite a massive disruption to the economy, consumer interest in solar continues,” Jayson Waller, CEO of POWERHOME, said in a press release.
