Boutique celebrates five years of being fabulous
Cary boutique Peachy Keen is in celebration mode this week.
The shop marks its fifth anniversary with a party from noon to 4 p.m. Aug. 26. The shop it at 250 Grande Heights Drive, Cary.
“It’s crazy how fast five years goes by,” says Karly Hankin, creative director and buyer for Peachy Keen. “I love all of our loyal clients who have shopped through the years and continue to support us and our mission to dress women and make them feel great in their own skin.”

Bailey’s Fine Jewelry in Cameron Village hosts a date night featuring spirits tastings from local Pinetop and Raleigh Rum distilleries. Back-to-School Haircuts
Retailer DTLR will offer free back-to-school haircuts for kids at its Northgate Mall location in Durham and its Raleigh Boulevard store in Raleigh. The Durham event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 26, and Raleigh is from noon to 3 p.m. Aug. 27. A DJ will provide music throughout. Haircuts are given on a first-come, first-served basis. Alumni Hall Opens
Wolfpack fans have a new source for game day gear. Alumni Hall – which carries tailgate-ready threads from Adidas, Columbia, Cutter & Buck and more – opened last week in Cameron Village. In addition to clothing and accessories for men, women and kids, the store also offers tents, coolers and decorations for tailgating in style. The store is at 441 Daniels St.
