Pit Bull Won't Get in the Tub Unless 'Her Song' Is On and It's So Relatable
Neither of my dogs likes to take a bath. My Dachshund is compliant at first, but turns into a little escape artist the minute I turn my back to grab the shampoo bottle. Her Pug brother peacefully protests going in the tub by planting his tush on the ground and refusing to move. I have to carry him in and then suds him up as quickly as possible before he has a meltdown. I've tried to make bath time a pleasant experience for them with toys, soft music, and even candles to give off some spa vibes, but to no avail.
Zara the Pit Bull doesn't seem to mind taking a bath but has one request that must be met before she puts one paw in the tub.

Zara sat outside the tub in the bathroom and stared at her mom with an expectant look on her face.
"My dog won't get in the bath until I put her song on," the onscreen text explained.
The pretty Pittie patiently waited to get her beauty bath but needed her music masterpiece to first start playing.
"Are you ready?" Zara's mom asked. "You want Mommy to put your song on?"
Zara made a face that seemed to say, "uh, YEAH."
"Alright, we're going to the Zar wash," her mom declared as she put on the 70s classic, "Car Wash" by Rose Royce. As soon as Zara heard the first beat drop, she slowly made her way into the tub.
Zara Needs Lyrics
Although the primping pooch was happy to hear her favorite disco tune, she wasn't willing to get fully sudsed up until she heard the words being sung. Her mother assured her that the first stanza was starting soon.
Clearly moved by the lyrics, Zara was in full bath mode once she heard the "Car Wash" chorus as her mom sang along, appropriately changing the word "car" for "Zar". The canine cutie gave her mom kisses of appreciation for a job well done.
Followers got a kick out of Zara's bathtime ritual and understood her need for musical accompaniment.

"If I had a personalized shower song, I'd wait for the lyrics too," someone remarked.
"She's gotta get hyped for her bath," another pointed out.
"I have to pick a good song before I get in the shower too," one shared.
If Zara's tub tune helps her get her beauty regimen taken care of, then the precious pooch should get her wish.
