These Dog Parents Had Their Rottweiler Choose Between the Two, and It Was a Landslide

We all want our dogs to adore us as much as we love them. However, whenever you get two parents in the mix, there's always bound to be one that's just a little bit more favored than the other. It's not that our pups don't like the spare human; it's just that they would rather spend all day with their favorite parent instead. It's not personal, it's just how it is.

Except for maybe Nala. As evidenced by her pet parents, Nala the Rottweiler may have a very obvious favorite out of the pair, and it's hard to say otherwise. Taking on a viral trend, these pet parents put Nala to the test to see which of the two she loved more, and let's just say one of them probably regrets it.

Nala the Rottweiler Clearly Has Her Favorite Human

They don't call her Nala the needy Rottie for nothing. Taking on TikTok's favorite trend, Nala's humans dared to ask: Who does Nala love more? The trend is simple: both parents on either side of Nala turn to look at Nala at the same time. It is said that whoever the dog looks at first is the one they love most. While we don't know if this is scientifically true (most trends aren't), we have no other choice but to take it as fact.

Showcasing five rounds of the game, the choice was very clear. In four out of five rounds, not only did Nala look over at mom, but the sweet Rottweiler even lay their head on mom's shoulder. Not required, but we would like to think Nala just wanted to make their choice very clear. In the last round, Nala decided to show Dad some love with kissies, although we can't help but wonder if this was just out of sympathy for the heartbroken dad.

The comments also rallied behind this theory, with some commenters noting, "What an empathetic dog. He felt Dad's sadness and gave some kisses too." Others also shared their thoughts, like "He's just being a good boy and showing compassion for dad. He wanted to look at you and give you kisses!"

We are sure Nala loves their Dad as well; it's just that he would probably go to war for his mom and would have to really think about it for Dad.
