Robert Kirkman Won't Give Up on Bringing a Big TV Star to 'Invincible'
Invincible is one of the best shows of the 2020s because it has an incredibly talented voice cast. Sandra Oh, Steven Yeun, J.K. Simmons, Lee Pace, Aaron Paul, and Seth Rogen are just some of the huge names that voice characters in Amazon Prime Video's superhero epic.
Apparently, creator Robert Kirkman isn't satisfied with his roster of voice actors just yet. There's one name that he just keeps honing in on, but it's been to no avail so far: Bryan Cranston.
Robert Kirkman says they still haven't been able to convince Bryan Cranston to sign on for a role in ‘INVINCIBLE'.

"We're not going to stop offering him roles, he's not going to beat us!" pic.twitter.com/4MS9CTWxHA
"I would love to be able to announce now that he's on the show in some capacity, but he's not. We're not going to stop offering him roles. He's not going to win. He's not going to beat us . . . we're coming for you, Cranston!"
Kirkman is one of the most connected people in Hollywood. He often brings back people that he's worked with before. Many of his The Walking Dead cast members have appeared in Invincible, such as Yeun and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Cranston is good friends with former Breaking Bad castmate Aaron Paul, who appeared in a recurring role in season 3. Perhaps Paul can convince Cranston to join the team.
The fans of Invincible have been complaining on social media that the show doesn't need any more famous voice actors. The money that Prime Video gives the show should be spent more on the animation. Some people watching have noticed choppy or rushed visuals since season 2. The show coming out yearly might also be affecting the quality of the graphics.
Invincible just finished one of its best seasons ever. A climactic battle between Omni-Man, Invincible, and Thragg led to a slower, more measured finale. The show is setting up for many more new stories in the years to come, as the series is only about halfway through the comic book source material.

As far as Cranston goes, he's been quite busy with the Malcolm in the Middle reboot show. Maybe now that he doesn't have anything big on his schedule, Kirkman can finally win him over for a surprise appearance in the coming seasons.
