Shih-Tzu Breaks Into Ballerina Spins for Cucumbers and Completely Commits
My Pug does a "happy dance" the second he sees his dinner being prepared. He can't contain his excitement at the mere sight of a savory meal and breaks out in an adorable jig. Canines often have their own signature celebratory rituals when they're happy about things we tend to take for granted.
Cashew the Shih-Tzu is a perfect example of these creative expressions of joy. This precious pooch could be mistaken for a ballerina by the way she pirouettes when she sees a coveted tasty snack.

While some dogs are selective with treats and prefer meaty or sweet morsels, Cashew seems like she has a very versatile palate. When her mom offered her a slice of cucumber in the TikTok from @thecashewbrand, the canine cutie launched into a series of spins worthy of the Royal Ballet.
Cashew's joy was palpable as she continuously twirled for the little cucumber slice. Her mom rewarded her performance with the green vegetable, and Cashew scurried away to enjoy her snack.
The canine cutie clearly loves fruits and veggies. Apparently, the darling dog dances for more than just cucumbers. Her social media account features her twirling for a variety of foods, including sweet potato, kiwi, green pepper, and even kale.
Followers marveled at Cashew's impressive moves and felt she was ready to go pro.
"Cashew's talents need to be shared on stage," one remarked.
"Petition for a tutu," another posted.
"I've never seen Cashew and Britney Spears in the same room," a follower pointed out.
"Is Cashew in ballet 3 times a week?" someone asked.
"I think Cashew may have been a ballerina in a past life. There seem to be signs," someone noted.
Dogs Turn Everyday Moments Into Something Special
Our fur babies have a talent for taking mundane events and transforming them into some sort of mini celebration. When my Pug gets up in the morning, he doesn't just roll out of bed. He paws at me and gives me kisses til I wake up, then jumps off the bed and scampers toward the door with that adorable tush wiggle and tail wag. It's like his own little wake-up ritual and I love how it starts the day.
Consider how dogs view typical household items or what's on television. They see things through a different lens and find wonder and fascination with the little things in life.
Then there's how they greet their loved ones. Dogs never fail to give family members a warm welcome every time they walk in the door. Our canine companions show us how happy they are to see us, even if we've only been gone for five minutes.
Cashew proves dogs have a natural gift for brightening even the simplest moments.
