Every dog has a story worth sharing, but one stray puppy rescued in Mexico is breaking hearts with her tragic backstory. The brave little pup, now named Mocha, was spotted just over the border in Mexico, waiting patiently for help next to her mother's lifeless body.

Fortunately, there are kind animal advocates like @bruh.brit who dedicate their lives to helping street dogs like Mocha. The rescue puppy warmed up to her new human friend right away, and her resilience in a tragic situation left everyone in awe.

Viewer discretion is advised: the video shows the rescue puppy's deceased mother, though only from a distance.

We are calling her, mocha :) and she is thriving! #dogrescue

Even though Mocha is safe and sound in Brit's care, this orphaned puppy rescue story is understandably breaking hearts. Watching her sitting next to her mama could leave anyone reaching for the tissues!

As much as Brit wanted to give the stray pup's mom a proper burial, she had to make the difficult decision to leave her behind. Instead, she'll ensure that the baby is loved and cared for for the rest of her life, which is every mom's wish for their child.

She would be so happy to know where her baby is now-living her best life on the beach with her rescuer and a canine friend! Mocha will tag along with Brit until she finds the perfect home, and then the rescuer will have the space and resources to continue rescuing street dogs just like her.

Replying to @Toasted bread I got you! :) she is living her best life! #dogrescue#beachdogs

A rescue dog's transformation is truly magical! Just a few days ago, the orphaned puppy was fending for herself by the side of the road, but now, she's exploring new things and learning how to be a dog. If only every Mexican rescue dog could be so lucky!

Mexican Rescue Dogs

"We rescued a dog from Mexico, too," shared commenter @ariruger. "My mom saw him on the street being bullied by kids, and he was so tiny and helpless. He's now living in California, sleeping on Calvin Klein blankets." That's exactly how it should be!

I am also lucky enough to have a Mexican rescue dog, and he is, by far, the most affectionate pup I have ever met. He loves to be bundled up and carried like a baby! When he's not looking for snacks or new ways to bug his Siberian Husky brother, he's either tearing up toys or napping in my personal space.

Every rescue dog deserves to be pampered and adored, which is why adopting pets is oh-so-important. With enough time and effort, more and more pups like Mocha will get the chance to find their forever homes.
