15-Year-Old Stray Chihuahua Finally Wags His Tail When Meeting Fellow Rescue Fur Babies
Stray dogs are often fearful and hesitant when they're first rescued, and need time to decompress and adjust to their new environment. These sweet canines slowly let their guard down when given some compassion and patience.
Bruno the 15-year-old Chihuahua was brought to an animal shelter after being found on the street, so Vintage Pet Rescue stepped in to give him a new home.

The TikTok from @vintagepetrescue told Bruno's story and how the rescue organization picked him up from the Providence Animal Shelter.
"Bruno was found as a stray two weeks ago," the onscreen text explained as the little Chi lay curled up in his kennel. "No one showed up to claim him, so we did."
The senior pup, who weighs a mere 5.5 pounds, was calm and compliant as he was brought to Vintage Pet Rescue. His vision and hearing abilities were still undetermined.
"We don't know how well he can see or hear, but I still told him all about where he was headed," the story continued as Bruno was warmly welcomed upon his arrival. "It may seem overwhelming, but there is so much love here."
Bruno Met His New Roomies
The precious pooch got a refreshing bath before meeting the other rescue residents. Some friendly greeting sniffs were exchanged as Bruno began to feel more comfortable, and the other fur babies seemed to immediately accept him into their pack. The charming Chi even started wagging his tail as he went nose-to-nose with a new roommate.
