The internet has officially found the most accurate scientific explanation for how cats are created, and honestly? It somehow makes more sense than actual biology.

One artist is going viral after sharing beautifully illustrated drawings imagining where different types of cats "come from," and the entire thing feels like a warm hug for cat people.

The whimsical animations and drawings come from TikTok user @lazyary1, and they show different feline "creation stories" in the sweetest, funniest ways possible.

According to the Illustrations:

Calico cats are made when white, orange, and Black Cats accidentally go through the washing machine together.

• Black Cats were left in the toaster slightly too long.

Orange Catsfall directly out of a "one brain cell tree."

Torties may or may not be summoned by witches.

And honestly? Longtime cat people immediately accepted all of this as factual information.

The soft, dreamy art style somehow makes the jokes feel weirdly emotional at the same time, which explains why viewers completely fell in love with the series.

People in the Comments Were Absolutely Enchanted:

• "Biologist here specializing in feline study, can confirm this is true."

• "Can confirm my Tortie was summoned by witches."

• "This is the most adorable piece of art I've ever seen."

• "I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I love the single brain cell for the Orange Cats."

• "This is beautiful. The animations and drawings are wonderful."

Honestly, the Orange Cat "one brain cell tree" explanation feels especially accurate because Orange Cats continue to behave like tiny chaotic forest creatures operating on pure instinct and bad decisions.

The artist behind the illustrations, Areeba Haseeb, is a children's book illustrator and animal advocate whose work often features cats and other animals inspired by her own pets.

She also wrote and illustrated the book Never Adopt a Human, which she describes as a love letter to cat people.

And honestly? That tracks completely because these drawings somehow capture exactly how kitty lovers see their pets: tiny, magical weirdos governed by mysterious laws of nature.

Meanwhile, my Orange Cat, Tarkus, once got confused by a chair leg and screamed at it for 10 minutes, so the "one brain cell tree" theory unfortunately holds up scientifically in my household, too.

Why Do Cat Lovers Connect So Deeply With Funny Cat Art?

Cat-themed art often becomes popular because it captures the quirky personalities, strange habits, and emotional attachment people feel toward their pets in ways that feel instantly recognizable.

Cat Lovers Especially Enjoy Art That Highlights:

• Orange Cat chaos

• Tortie attitude

Black Cat mystery

• Calico drama

• Maine Coon fluffiness

• Everyday weird cat behavior

Funny cat art also creates a sense of shared community because nearly every kitty parent immediately recognizes at least one painfully accurate personality trait.

And honestly? The idea that Orange Cats simply fall from a magical "one brain cell tree" feels believable enough at this point that nobody is even questioning it anymore.
