James Bond Makes History With an Incredible New Release

Since 1995, in GoldenEye,James Bond has worn an Omega Seamaster watch in every single 007 movie. That means from Pierce Brosnan to Daniel Craig, and likely whoever plays him in Bond 26 has been rocking a Seamaster. The style and models of each have varied over the years, but now, in 2026, the Bond franchise is doing something that has never happened before. The young James Bond, as played by Patrick Gibson in the new game, 007 First Light, is wearing a brand new version of the Omega Seamaster.

But this watch doesn't just exist inside the game. In a history-making move, Omega is releasing the new 007 First Light Omega Seamaster into the real world. As of now, you can order the official Seamaster Diver 300M from First Light. Check out the official video from Omega below, which shows the watch in real life and in action in the new Bond game.

Like the many Omegas worn by Daniel Craig, including his famous Spectre watch, this Seamaster comes on a NATO strap, which is a Bond tradition that actually precedes Omega's affiliation with the 007 films. In 1964's Goldfinger, Sean Connery's Bond wore a Rolex Submariner with a single-pass nylon NATO strap. The colors on that strap in Goldfinger were navy, olive, and red. Craig's Spectre watch had black and grey stripes.

The new Patrick Gibson Bond Omega has a NATO strap that is black, grey, and gold, giving it a very classic feeling. In the game, it appears that this watch will have a built-in laser, though the real First Light Seamaster probably doesn't come loaded with that feature.
