Clever Mini Horse Tries to Pull Off a Grand Escape, and the Internet Can't Handle the Cuteness
Beep, beep. Coming through! The internet can't get enough of a mini horse who managed to break out of his enclosure and make a break for it. He was off on an adventure! Go, little guy go!
Caught by one of the humans at Dandelion Blue Farm in Charleston, South Carolina, the video is actually pretty precious. The miniature horse is so tiny! It's hard to fault him for wanting a little freedom.
@dandelionbluefarm Alfie ended up on the wrong side of the fence when moving him and his mom today (he was quickly returned lol)... glad nobody panicked #dandelionbluefarm#miniaturehorse#minihorse#babyhorse#runaway

Alfie must be a sneaky little fella. I don't know how the miniature horse managed to free himself from the fence that was keeping him in, but he did and then he made a run for it. Don't worry, he didn't go far. The mini horse took the cutest little jaunt well within sight of his human. There was no way that he was going to get too far with his mama looking on.

It doesn't hurt that the mini horse is a slow runner. His little trots are so adorable, but it keeps him pretty close no matter how hard he tries. It seems likely that his mom was able to wrangle him and get him back in his enclosure, she didn't seem too worried!
"Runaway baby!" the video's text overlay reads. "Alfie ended up on the wrong side of the fence when moving him and his mom today (he was quickly returned lol)... glad nobody panicked," the caption reads.
People couldn't stop laughing.
"I'm free, I'm free, oh shoot I don't know where to go! Momma!!!" joked one person, as if speaking for the mini horse.
"OMG baby horses are more adorable than puppies," someone else gushed.
"Me when I was running away to the end of the driveway before eating all my snacks in 10 min," teased another commenter.
"Just a baby skidaddling like he's gonna be late for work," another person quipped.
How Fast Can a Miniature Horse Run?
Thankfully, this little guy didn't cause too much trouble. He wasn't going anywhere too fast! Miniature horses can only run about 11 to 13 mph. Pretty fast, but not fast enough!
