In this clip, she shows us just how loyal her pet pigeon actually is.

"You couldn't pay him to leave me alone," the video caption reads as we watch the chonky little bird flapping his wings and following his mom all around the house, from room to hallway to another room.

He's so adorably attentive and chubby. He looks like the happiest, most well-fed pigeon we've ever seen.

"The chonk that follows everywhere," one commenter says.

"First time we've seen Pot Roast fly!" jokes another.

"He looks like a little butler," another says. "'Great heavens, Young Master, please do slow down so I may attend you properly' type bird."

Do Pigeons Make Good Pets?

Pigeons may get a lot less attention than parrots or songbirds, but pigeons are actually wonderful pets for those who keep them.

Just like this round little guy, pigeons are incredibly attentive and affectionate birds. They're also very calm and intelligent, and they're much less vocal than the more popular bird species.

Pigeons enjoy long lifespans for birds, and you can expect your pet pigeon to live with you for anywhere from 10 to 15 years. Because they're so smart, they are very trainable, able to learn to recognize faces and symbols alike.

Of course, we all know pigeons create a lot of waste. Some folks with pigeon pets actually dress their birds in "pigeon pants," a specialized type of diaper for pigeons. They also create a lot of dust and dander, so many pigeon parents invest in high-powered air purifiers.

It's no surprise this pigeon is following his mom around. Pigeons don't do well in cages and small spaces. If you're going to put your pigeon in a cage, it's best to use a dog crate.

If you'd like to have a little pigeon following you from room to room, it's best not to take one from the street but rather to find a rescue organization that gives a home to a pigeon in need. You could end up with a Velcro friend for life!
