Try This Trick for Cleaning High Windows

For Villaneda's first hack, all you need to buy is a broom handle, squeegee attachment and glass cleaner. Put the squeegee attachment on your handle, spray it with some glass cleaner and use it to clean windows that are hard to reach - whether on the inside or outside of your home.

This Hack Makes Cleaning Your Shower Easier

For this next hack, all you need is a broom handle, microfiber attachment and a pack of scouring pads. After attaching the microfiber attachment to your broom handle, remove the microfiber part and replace it with a scouring pad. Then, use your new scouring mop to scrub down your shower. The broom handle makes it easier to reach the walls, and it also gives you some extra scrubbing power.

This Hack Involves Cleaning Your Home With Car Mitts

This hack requires a broom handle, flat mop attachment (like what you'd find on a Swiffer) and two car microfiber mitts. "Stay with me," Villaneda joked, before instructing viewers to slide one mitt on each side of the mop attachment. Then, use your new dry microfiber mop to dust around the house. Villaneda has found it works well for cleaning vents, ceiling fans and baseboards - and it doesn't require any bending or climbing. Plus, you can wash the mitts and reuse them.

This Two-Step Process Can Bring Your Kitchen Sink "Back to Life"

To follow Villaneda's kitchen sink-cleaning process with Dollar Tree products, you'll need the Homebright Multi-Purpose Cleaning Paste, a microfiber towel and baby oil. First, use the microfiber towel and some of the cleaning paste to scrub your stainless steel sink down. Then, rinse the sink out. Once dry, use the clean side of your cloth to apply baby oil all over the basin, which gives it an "amazing shine."

Add Scent Boosters to Your Vacuum

For this hack, all you need is a pack of laundry scent boosters. Put a few in your vacuum's canister before vacuuming, and Villaneda promises it will "leave your house smelling like laundry."

Clean Your Kitchen Cabinet Fronts With This Hack

This hack is essentially a reusable alternative to a dry Swiffer. All you need a broom handle, flat mop attachment and microfiber towel. Just attach the towel by pressing it into the teeth of the mop attachment. Then, use your mop to clean high-up kitchen cabinets, which often accumulate grease from cooking. Villaneda recommends doing one round with a dry cloth, and then flipping the cloth to the clean side, adding some cleaning spray and wiping down the cabinets a second time.
