9-Month-Old Pygmy Falcon Is Tiny, but Somehow Has the Loudest Opinions Ever
Toby, the Pygmy Falcon, may only be 9 months old and approximately the size of an overcaffeinated potato, but apparently that hasn't stopped him from developing VERY strong opinions about absolutely everything.
And honestly? He refuses to keep those opinions to himself.
@cincinnatizoo There's a new African Pygmy Falcon in town at the Ameritas Wings of Wonder! Everyone meet Toby, a 9 month old Pygmy Falcon. Keepers are hopeful he will become a companion to Tanzi, the female Pygmy Falcon who stars in the summer bird experience!

The Cincinnati Zoo shared the adorable clip introducing Toby, a 9-month-old African Pygmy Falcon now living at the zoo's Wings of Wonder bird experience.
According to the caption:
"Everyone, meet Toby, a 9-month-old Pygmy Falcon."
"Keepers are hopeful he will become a companion to Tanzi, the female Pygmy Falcon who stars in the summer bird experience."
But instead of calmly making his debut, Toby spends the video loudly chirping like a tiny feathered politician addressing the nation.
The noises coming out of this microscopic bird honestly sound WAY too big for his body.

At Different Moments in the Clip:
• Toby chirps dramatically.
• He continues chirping dramatically.
• Somehow, he gets even louder.
• The bird looks extremely passionate about whatever he's saying,
• Everyone online immediately agrees with him despite having no idea what he's talking about.
People in the Comments Were Completely Obsessed With His Tiny but Powerful Energy:
• "What's he talking about?!"
• "Such huge chirps for such a tiny Toby."
• "He has so much to say!"
• "You know what, Toby, you're right."
• "Toby, you got a point there. We should take that into consideration."
• "Toby certainly has a lot to talk about."
Honestly, the funniest part is how deeply convinced Toby seems that everybody urgently needs to hear his thoughts immediately.
He Genuinely Has the Energy Of:
• A tiny old man yelling from a front porch
• An emotionally invested neighborhood gossip
• A small town mayor addressing a crisis

African Pygmy Falcons are actually the smallest birds of prey in Africa.
Despite their tiny size, they are still true Falcons and skilled hunters.
Fun Facts About Pygmy Falcons:
• Adults are only around 7 to 8 inches tall (adults are about the length of a sharpened pencil).
• They weigh just a few ounces.
• They often live in dry savanna habitats.
• They frequently nest in large communal bird nests.
• They hunt insects, small reptiles, and tiny animals.
• They are known for being bold despite their size.
And honestly? Toby may currently be proof that confidence truly isn't determined by body weight.
