While there are many delicious types of pet foods out on the market, sometimes our furry friends require just a little bit more. This is exceptionally true if our pets are accustomed to a certain standard of living. And let's be honest, they definitely deserve to be spoiled.

Well, for one gorgeous black cat, that's exactly what happens every day in their household. Pishi is a black cat whose dad loves cooking up amazing homemade recipes. While their channel has plenty of great options for cat parents to explore, their date-night dinner is the perfect choice for anyone looking to elevate their kitten's meal.

Not content with just any canned meal for his kitten, this cat dad just took dinnertime to the next level. Sharing his latest creation that's perfect for a date night dinner, or just a fancy meal, Pishi's dad shows us the ultimate way to make our kittens' meals even better.

Starting with chopping butternut squash and carrots, the recipe continues with chicken thigh and chicken heart cooking in a separate pot over the stovetop, both in water. Afterward, the recipe calls for adding some salmon to the pot with the chicken before letting it finish cooking, then removing the bits of chicken and salmon and adding them to a food processor.

After mixing everything up and a quality check by Pishi, the cooking continues by adding some of the broth from the cooked chicken and salmon into the fully cooked pot of butternut squash and carrots. After blending that up, add some egg and continue to mix.

Next, the recipe calls for adding chicken liver and homemade bone meal to this mix. For a final secret ingredient, Pishi's dad adds some mussels for extra flavor. After mixing everything into a bowl, Pishi's dad also adds some of the cat's supplements to the food.

Once Pishi gives his full seal of approval, it's time to eat. Chowing down with a happy tail, Pishi clearly loves it when their dad cooks. Thankfully, the extras went into the freezer to be used at another time, because who doesn't love leftovers?

In the comments, cat fans and parents were amazed at the homemade recipe, with many more excited about a potential cookbook announcement from Pishi's dad.

"Waiting in anticipation. All three of my cats are starting to reject the store-bought cat food. Even the ones that look like chicken soup with chunks of chicken...I can't wait to start making them meals," commented one user.

Another added, "Because of this page, I've been meal prepping for my cat."

While the internet awaits a Pishi-approved recipe book, we are sure this lovely black cat is excited to be the official taste tester for the project.
