This Rainy Day in 2 Goldendoodles' Lives Is So Relaxing to Watch
Is there anything more relaxing than a rainy day spent cuddling your fur baby? Well, thanks to a video upload from A Girl and a Doodle on YouTube, you can make every day as cozy-at least for a couple of minutes.
Kat and her pup Oliver are the original stars of this channel, but these days, they're joined by a second goldendoodle named Daisy, and she's just as sweet.

The day starts with Kat and the pups waking up on the couch. She said she'd go to bed whenever Oliver woke up. Next thing she knows, it's the morning after!
There was a light drizzle in the yard, so when Kat brought Oliver and Daisy outside to have their morning pee, the doggies were not having it.
"Dog math," the video caption says, "refuses to go potty in the rain but will walk in it no problem."
Just as the caption suggests, a nice walk in the rain is next on the docket. We watch as Kat and the pups put on their rain-walk best, dressed in athleisure and rain jackets, ready to turn that rainy sidewalk into a fashion runway.
It's cold out there, but Daisy and Oliver are feeling as adventurous as ever. Oliver even takes his rain jacket off halfway through the walk because, as his mom explains, "if anything's ever slightly itchy, Oliver won't wear it."
By the time they return back home, the intrepid dogs have decided they no longer yearn for the warmth and comfort of the dry house. Instead, they want to feel the rain on their skin-or fur, in their case.
With a bit of coaxing, they head indoors for a towel dry, shampoo and fur brushing. There was a big breakfast to celebrate the busy morning, and then lots more couch cuddles to get through the rainy day. We think this was a perfectly relaxed way to spend a rainy day with two adorable pups.

Do Dogs Need Rain Coats?
Oliver was happy to wear his rain coat until it started to get itchy, and the truth is, most dogs don't need rain coats for everyday living. However, there are a few cases where rain coats can make a big difference.
Smaller breeds of dogs may benefit from rain coats, as their bodies are closer to the ground and are more likely to get drenched in the splashes of puddles.
Dogs with thin coats and hairless dogs in particular are good candidates for rain coats, as they get colder much faster and take longer to warm back up. Interestingly, dogs with long hair, such as these goldendoodles, benefit a lot from rain coats because their hair soaks up water so quickly.
Senior pups and dogs with allergies or health issues may also do well with a rain coat, as they're more vulnerable to the elements and illness.
Of course, if you do get a rain coat for your dog, make sure your dog enjoys wearing it and doesn't find it itchy. Otherwise, you might end up with a wet dog, but a happy dog is what's most important. Right, Oliver?
