Introverted Little Dog Sits With Her Back Against the Wall Waiting to Be 'Rescued' From Daycare
Not every dog is a social butterfly, and one little pup is proving that in the most relatable way possible. After a day at doggy daycare, TikToker Jayne's (@janyneongjy) dog, Luna, was found sitting quietly with her back against the wall, patiently waiting for her mom to come "rescue" her from all the excitement. The hilarious scene has introverts everywhere comparing Luna's reaction to suffering through daycare to their own feelings at a crowded party.
Luna appears completely overwhelmed by all the activity, choosing a spot as far away from the other dogs as possible. While the rest of the pups eagerly rush over to greet Jayne, Luna will barely make eye contact. Her message couldn't be clearer: she's had enough socializing for one day and is more than ready to go home.

Do Some Dogs Get Overstimulated at Daycare?
Commenters couldn't get enough of Luna's relatable reaction. @Shayhere earned more than 500,000 likes with their take on what Luna was probably thinking: "Hate it here. Hate it hate it hate it hate it...."
@Kings racked up more than 325,000 likes by pointing out, "Safe to say she's not a dog person." Meanwhile, @nmphete joked, "She literally said, 'Oh thank God' LOL," prompting Jayne to reply, "She was READY to clock out haha!"
While many dogs thrive in daycare environments, not all of them do. Some pups simply prefer spending time with their humans rather than socializing with a large group of dogs. According to The Animal People, dogs with introverted personalities tend to be more reserved and independent. "They may not enjoy the constant interaction and high-energy environment of daycare and prefer solitude or quieter settings, like home."
They note that introverted dogs can find the noise and constant activity overwhelming, often retreating to a quiet corner to decompress, just like Luna did in Jayne's video. If your dog seems more introverted, they may be happier with an in-home pet sitter, a dog walker, or a smaller daycare setting with fewer dogs and less stimulation.
