Former World Champion's WWE Contract Is Set to Expire Soon
A top WWE superstar's contract is reportedly on the verge of expiring.
There has been a dramatic overhaul of the WWE roster since WrestleMania 42 weekend concluded. The company has released more than 30 talents, including New Day, the entire Wyatt Sicks stable, Aleister Black, Kairi Sane, Zelina Vega and Apollo Crews.
And if officials don't present a future Hall of Famer with a quality offer, she could be on her way out as well.
Per a report fromWrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select (h/t Slam Wrestling), Bayley's WWE contract expires at the end of this year. At this time, there aren't any hints that the 36-year-old superstar has signed a new deal.
Bayley (real name Pamela Martinez) debuted for the WWE on the NXT brand in Jan. 2013. After three years there, she joined the main roster at the Battleground 2016 pay-per-view.
Bayley Has Built a Hall of Fame-Caliber Career
The two-time WWE Women's Champion and two-time SmackDown Women's Champion has pieced together a legendary career since joining the main roster 10 years ago. Without question, Bayley will one day land in the WWE Hall of Fame.
If she doesn't sign a new deal with WWE, Bayley won't have any problem finding success in another promotion. The rival AEW promotion would surely try to recruit her, considering their successful partnership with Mercedes Moné (Sasha Banks in WWE).
