4 Persian Cats Have Completely Different Sleeping Spots and None of Them Make Sense
Cats are very sleepy creatures, and they spend a lot of time of the day catching quick naps, but they never seem to snooze just anywhere. Cats love strange places, and when you have more than one kitty in the house, they'll find a little extra strange places to catch some shut-eye.
In this video, we meet four very adorable Persian cats who are sprawled out, ready to sleep, but each has chosen a completely different spot, and none of them look comfortable. Take a look!

Shared on TikTok by @goldenkittyfam, the video shows four beautiful Persian cats-Willow, Rosie, Buns, and Blanche-who were ready for one of their many naps during the day. Cats sleep a lot, which every kitty parent knows, but in this clip, we learn something that might not be known by people who don't have more than one cat.
Cats love to sleep in weird but very specific places, and when they decide somewhere that works for them, that's where you'll find them during nap time.
In the comments, people were happy to see this group of cats have a good sleeping spot, even if none of them made sense. Some comments included, "OMG, 4 beautiful meows," "So cute," "Such a precious moment," and "I love it."
One person asked, "Do their fave spots change? Floof will pick a new spot every few months?" And they received an answer, with these cats' mom sharing, "Willow has had the favorite couch spot since I brought her home five years ago. Buns on the chair pillow started at the beginning of this year. The other two have loved their spots for a very long time! Where does Floofy love to sit right now??? Kitties are so funny about how they get attached to spots!!!

Why Do Cats Sleep in Weird Spots?
These four Persian cats know what works for them to get great naps, and they're not afraid to park themselves there for some good shut-eye. If you have a cat, you'll probably notice they have a weird sleeping spot, too. And there's a reason for that.
According to VCA Animal Hospitals, cats sleep in strange places because it's part of their history, dating back to when they were in the wild. The site explains that although our well-loved house cats don't need to worry about anything dangerous sneaking up on them, they still sleep as if they do. That means high places, small places, and everything in between.
But if your kitty isn't sleeping in a weird, tight, or high place, like on a very specific couch cushion, spot on the floor, or weird perch, that's because they have to sleep a lot, and they want to sleep in a spot where they're sure they'll wake feeling rested.
And these four cats have found their spots and are happy to stick to them.
