Nobody Will Adopt These Sweet Kitten Sisters, and the Internet Is Devastated
While it's true that it's typically easier to find homes for kittens than older cats, for these kitten sisters, that hasn't been the case. They've been passed over more than once, long after the other kittens in their rescue were adopted, and after their last two potential adoptions fell through, their foster mom is getting desperate.
After Karen at Karen's Cat Community took to TikTok to share Coco and Bella's story, everyone is heartbroken that these sweet babies are still homeless.
@karenscatcommunity These kittens need a new home, but the RIGHT home, could it be you. Adoption fee and home checks apply. Based in Mid Wales We travel for the right homes. Lauren is still going through enquiries at the moment but honestly, I've never known two kittens that are so difficult to rehome. #cats#catlovers#longhairedcats#adoptdontshop

When Karen, who is based in the UK, first shared the story, it was day 19 of trying to find Bella and Coco their forever homes, and four days have passed since then. They were originally up for sale on social media for just £15 each, which is horrifying - they're lucky Karen found them first.
After having full health screenings, it's clear that Bella and Coco are in good health, and they've both been spayed. And despite their sad start to life, they are both such playful, happy cats.
They also both have gorgeous coats, but someone cut chunks out of poor Coco's fur likely because it was matted, making the situation all the more devastating. And imagining what the kittens must have been through, Coco and Bella deserve so much more than this.

The internet is in total disbelief that these kittens haven't been snatched up yet.
"They're beautiful babies! Hope they have a happy, safe, & fur ever home soon," one commenter wrote.
Some shared that they wished they could adopt the kittens, and others urged everyone watching to do the right thing and give these girls a home. "Come on guys there has to be someone out there," one user wrote.
Why Don't Bonded Pairs Get Adopted?
Bonded pairs are cats like Bella and Coco. They don't necessarily have to be related like these kittens are. A bonded pair is any two cats who have formed a close, emotional attachment to each other.
But because bonded pairs are recommended to be adopted together, it's often harder to find their forever homes. According to VCA Animal Hospital, people are often hesitant to adopt bonded pairs because it's obviously a bigger time and financial commitment to adopt two cats instead of one, but it really is better for them to end up in the same home. If cats who are part of a bonded pair are separated, it can cause a lot of anxiety for them.
If you're interested in finding out if Coco and Bella are the right fit for your family and are located in the UK, you can reach out to Karen's Cat Community via the contact form here.
Even if you're not local to these kittens, you can still help them find the right home by sharing the video and interacting with Karen's post, which will give it a boost on TikTok. My fingers are crossed that we get a happy update on Bella and Coco soon!
