TikTok creator @kaseynicolemarie shows off her amazing DIY solar lamp, made using just three Dollar Tree products. With a bowl, a vase, and glue dots, she is able to transform a simple light into a stunning solar lamp.

Kasey took part in a solar light and connected it to the top of the vase, and then placed the bowl upside down on top to make the lamp shade. It's easy, it's quick, and it's genius.

In her caption, Kasey says that she "used glue dots instead of E6000 to glue the light to the vase, to make changing the battery easier."

Not only is this DIY lamp simple to make, but it probably won't cost you more than $10 to get the three Dollar Tree items you need. Now that's what I call summer savings!

So Many Ways to Customize

Kasey also says that there are other vase and bowl options you can use for the lamp base and lampshade. In other words, you have full creative freedom when it comes to how you make your own solar lamp.

Take a look at your patio or backyard and find a color and style for the vase and bowl that matches your vibe. Dollar Tree has a wide selection of vases and bowls available for you to choose from, so the world is your oyster for your lamp design. Whichever ones you choose, you'll enjoy greater peace of mind knowing that your new lamp will last longer and cost less.

One TikTok comment said, "I have had Dollar Tree solar lights for over 5 years now. My grandma has bought new ones twice that were more expensive and supposed to hold up longer in those five years."

Another user even had an interesting idea: adding colored stones for extra beauty and stability.

Whatever kinds of stones you choose to use, you're guaranteed to wind up with a beautiful DIY solar lamp that's perfect for your home this summer.
