Memorial Tournament Suspended Amid Inclement Weather: New Start Time
Earlier Saturday morning the PGA Tour's communications department revealed the weather forecast for the third round of the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village in Dublin, OH.
The forecast called for two different bands of thunderstorms to hit in the region today, one in the morning and another in the late afternoon.
"Clusters of thunderstorms are forecast to impact Dublin this morning and again late in the day. The first round of thunderstorms is forecast between 9am-noon with additional thunderstorm development expected after 5pm," the weather forecast read. "Severe weather is possible this evening. Warm and humid conditions are forecast today with temperatures in the 80s and westerly winds gusting to 24 mph at times."
Memorial Tournament Suspended in Third Round
The tournament was briefly suspended earlier in the day with a delay just under two hours. Just a few hours later, another weather delay has hit.
"The third round of the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday was suspended at 4:34 p.m. due to inclement weather," the PGA Tour announced.

It's unclear how long this will last but the weather forecast from the Weather Channel shows thunderstorms near Dublin for most of the afternoon and into the night.
A severe thunderstorm watch was issued for the area, running from 3:45 p.m. ET until 10 pm ET.
As of the stoppage, Ryan Gerard and J.T. Poston sit tied atop the leaderboard at 9-under while Sam Burns is just one back.
A new start time has not been announced by the PGA Tour just yet.
