A piglet rescued from a meat truck recently got a brand new lease on life after escaping en route to the slaughterhouse at the right place and time. On May 31, veterinary technician Jordyn Berezan shared a series of video clips of the heartwarming pig rescue, starting from the very moment she and her friend, Paige, witnessed him 'fly' off the truck.
The girls wasted no time bringing the lucky piglet to the emergency veterinary clinic where they worked, but not even these vet med pros could predict just how much this viral piglet rescue video would blow up on social media. Viewers have so many questions about the baby pig, and everyone is so relieved to see him being spoiled with love and affection like he's always deserved.

What an adorable piglet! It's hard to imagine anyone shipping a baby pig off to slaughter, but that's exactly where this little one, and many other pigs, were headed. It's impossible to say whether he jumped from the truck, fell, or was pushed in a freak accident, but the important thing is that he's safe now.
As if this heartwarming pig rescue isn't already emotional enough, commenter @eldermilesbian had everyone wiping away tears when she wrote, "I wish his mom knew." Pass the tissues, please! She may have been on that truck, too, so maybe she does know that her baby is on his way to a different life.

"I like how when you found him," said @runrabbitjunk, "he was sitting in that blanket absolutely chill, like he could feel that you guys were a safe space." It's like he knew he was saved! Hearts melted when Jordyn and Paige put the piglet in a sweater to keep him warm, but there was still one question on everyone's minds.

A few days after Jordyn posted the adorable animal rescue video, she added a comment addressing viewers' questions. She explained, "He is safe at a hobby farm/sanctuary. We work in the vet industry. We did not give him back to a meat farm. Thank you for everyone's concerns."
