Complete List of Major Network TV Cancellations in 2026 So Far

Believe it or not, but we're almost halfway through the year. If you're a TV fan, you've undoubtedly seen more than a few shows come and go over these past six months. The Powers That Be of network television, in particular, have been a bit trigger-happy, with a slew of cancellations across multiple channels. Some are surprising; others, not so much.

So, to help you keep track of what's what, here's a handy-dandy list of all the major network cancellations in 2026 thus far, from scripted series to reality TV:

ABC:

As of writing, ABC hasn't canceled any of its scripted shows for the 2026-2027 season. In an unprecedented move, the network renewed its entire slate of programming. That said, ABC pulled Season 22 of The Bachelorette from rotation mere days before its debut due to the investigation embroiling its lead, Taylor Frankie Paul. Paul was being investigated for alleged domestic violence. Ultimately, the Salt Lake City District Attorney's Office decided not to file charges against Paul following two separate investigations.

CBS:

In addition to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert ending this year, the network axed Watson, starring Morris Chestnut, before its second season concluded. It canceled freshman comedy DMV, led by Tim Meadows and Harriet Dyer. The Neighborhood, which ran for eight seasons, was also canceled, a shock given its consistent performance, ratings-wise.

The CW:

Unfortunately, Good Cop/Bad Cop didn't live past its first season, as The CW canceled the Leighton Meester and Luke Cook series in February. As for Sherlock & Daughter, the network has yet to confirm if the mystery will return for Season 2.

Fox:

The Denis Leary-headlined comedy Going Dutch got the ax by Fox, so it concluded its two-season run in April. Fox canceled its animated darling The Great North back in October 2025 after five seasons and 97 episodes. Daytime talk show Sherri was also canceled, with its final episodes airing in the fall. Grimsburg is slated to premiere its third season this fall, but as TVLine points out, it's too early to tell whether the network will greenlight a fourth season.

NBC:

In a surprise move, NBC canceled Stumble, its freshman mockumentary led by Jenn Lyon and Taran Killam, and The Hunting Party, spearheaded by Melissa Roxburgh. Universal Television plans to shop the series around for a new home. The Zachary Quinto-led drama Brilliant Minds was also axed by the network.

NBC also put the kibosh on Yes, Chef!, a cooking competition series co-hosted by Martha Stewart and José Andrés, after one season. Meanwhile, Access Hollywood will wave farewell after 30 seasons on the air, and The Kelly Clarkson Show will also conclude after seven seasons, wrapping up this fall. Talk show Karamo, hosted by Karamo Brown, will air its last episode in September.

NBCUniversal is axingThe Steve Wilkos Show, a spin-off of The Jerry Springer Show, after 19 seasons. And while its final season streamed on Peacock, NBC/Universal also canceled Law & Order: Organized Crime after five seasons.

MTV:

Jersey Shore Family Vacation is ending its nine-season run on MTV this year. While previously shot episodes aired on the network in 2026, Ridiculousness was canceled in October 2025 after a whopping 46 seasons.

PBS:

PBS News Weekend aired its final episode in January 2026 after 10 seasons.
