These Golden Retrievers Get Poolside Table Service, and We Are So Jealous
Dogs tend to be content with the small things. While they sure appreciate new toys and treats, most of the time they'll be happy just to spend time with their humans. Unfortunately, that's not the case for these two golden retrievers who enjoy the finer things in life, and we can't say we blame them.
Meet Stevie and Chili, two fluffy golden retrievers who are redefining what it means to have a perfect summer day. Soaking in the sun on the lake, the duo lounged on a pool floatie in the middle of the water like the royalty they clearly believe themselves to be. Making the experience even better was poolside table service from their devoted human, who arrived with dog-friendly ice cream in hand.

Soaking in the sun on the lake, these two goldens are all of our summer inspirations. Lying down on a pool floatie in the middle of the lake, Stevie and Chili are enjoying the sun as everyone deserves. Making the experience even better is poolside table service from their human, who brought them some dog-friendly ice cream.
Both dogs eventually jumped off their floatie and onto the dock like children pulling themselves out of the pool to finish off their frozen treats. Stevie, the youngest pup, was exceptionally excited for the ice cream, jumping out at the first chance. On the other hand, Chili was a little too busy lounging in the water.

Enjoying ice cream dockside on a warm summer day, we genuinely cannot imagine a more perfect setting for anyone, human or dog. Even their human seemed to feel the magic of the moment, captioning the video with: "Oh to be a golden retriever."
The comment section was equally charmed. "My Mom always insisted that me and my friends get out of the pool for Mr. Softee, the ice cream truck," one viewer joked - a sentiment that felt instantly relatable to just about everyone who grew up with summers like that. "Oh, the joy of a lake, a floaty, ice cream, and love. Paws'atively adorable," gushed another. And perhaps the most fitting summary of all came from a third commenter who kept it simple: "They are living their best lives. Adorable."
Stevie and Chili, we couldn't agree more, and we'll have what they're having.
