US FDA staff says data may support effectiveness of Moderna's flu vaccine in older adults

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration's staff reviewers said preliminary assessment of Moderna's flu shot data may support effectiveness in adults 65 years and older.

Moderna's shot mFlusiva showed superior relative vaccine efficacy versus a standard-dose flu vaccine in adults 50 years and older, according to briefing documents published on Tuesday.
