Man's Daily Homecoming Has a Secret Admirer, and It's Not Who You'd Expect
There are friendly neighborhood dogs, but some take their job even more seriously. As one man posted on Reddit, his neighbor's dog has been waiting for him every day for six months.
The dog, which, by the pictures, looks like a Jack Russell terrier, does not wait at the door or on the porch. He waits through a hole in the shared wall, pushing his snout through and greeting him every time he comes back from work.

The dog has had his full attention from the start. He boops his snoot every time he comes. And sometimes, he gives him treats, or as he says, "bones."
My neighbor's dog has been peeping through a hole in our wall for about six months now, greeting me everyone I come back home.

Tiny Ritual People Cannot Stop Smiling About
As one commenter on the Reddit post said, "I love when the neighbor dogs learn my work schedule. They greet me in the AM and PM."
For some people, this tiny ritual might not mean a lot. But for this guy, who doesn't own a dog himself, that ritual is everything.
